Understanding the Gateway Review Section in Your Qualification Course
Article Summary: If you've already completed the Gateway course and now see a "Gateway Review" section in your Mat, Reformer or Comprehensice Qualification course, don't worry—you don't need to complete it again. This article explains what the Gateway Review section is, why it appears in your qualification course, and how to proceed with your actual qualification coursework.
What is the Gateway Review Section?
The Gateway Review section is a reference library that repeats material from your completed Gateway course. It's included in your qualification course for easy access and review purposes only.
Key point: You are not required to complete the Gateway Review section again, even if the system shows it as incomplete.
Why Does This Section Appear?
We include the Gateway Review section in qualification courses so students can:
- Quickly reference concepts while working through qualification material
- Review Gateway material without switching between different courses on the platform
- Access gateway content conveniently when needed for assignments or preparation
- The official Gateway course (which generates your certificate of completion) is valid for 3 months only. This is because there are some students that are only taking the Gateway Portion of the course. The Gateway Review section in the qualification course ensures you have access to the material for the duration of your course.
This is purely for your convenience—it does not impact your course progression or completion requirements.
How to Proceed With Your Qualification Course
Simply move past the Gateway Review section and continue with your actual qualification coursework. You can:
- Skip the Gateway Review entirely and proceed directly to your qualification modules
- Use it as a reference when you need to revisit specific Gateway concepts
- Make sure to sign complete the student handbook section
- Ignore the "incomplete" status, if any —this will not affect your course completion or certification. If you have completed the official Gateway section, you will have a certificate of completion that will stay on record.
Your qualification course progress is tracked separately from the Gateway Review section.
