How long do I have access to Polestar Online?
Your online access has an end date, and the length depends on your course: Comprehensive 18 months, Mat 12 months, Reformer 12 months, and the Gateway courses, Principles Online and Anatomy 3 months. The clock starts about one month before your first in-person module. If you need longer before your exam, you can add a paid Polestar Online Access Extension, and your certificates and awards stay on your account either way.
How long does my online access last?
| Course | Online access period |
| Comprehensive qualification course | 18 months |
| Mat qualification course | 12 months |
| Reformer qualification course | 12 months |
| Gateway courses: Gateway Online, Gateway Mat, Gateway Equipment and Gateway Reformer (Gateway Online gives your certificate of completion) | 3 months |
| Principles Online (PP Online) | 3 months |
| Anatomy | 3 months |
These periods are set in section 2 of the Polestar Pilates Asia terms and conditions. They are unchanged by the 2027 curriculum.
When does my access start and end?
Your access starts about one month before your first in-person module. Until then your course appears greyed out on your dashboard, which is normal. See How to Access Your Polestar Online Learning Materials for the full timeline.
On the 2026 structure, Gateway Online and your qualification course are two separate courses on the platform, and each has its own dates. For example:
- Gateway Online opens on 1 July and closes on 2 October (3 months).
- Reformer Qualification opens on 2 August and closes on 3 August the following year (12 months).
On the 2027 curriculum there is no Gateway Online, so your qualification course is the only online course to track.
What happens when my online access ends?
- Your course closes. You can no longer open that course's online lectures, videos and quizzes.
- Your certificates and awards stay. You can still see them from your account, and your certificate of completion stays on record. Polestar also keeps your awards and student history permanently in our records. See How to View Your Awards and Certificates in Polestar Online Platform.
- Your Gateway material stays available for your qualification course. The official Gateway course closes after 3 months, so your qualification course includes a Gateway Review section as a reference library for the length of your course. It may show as incomplete, and you do not need to complete it. See Understanding the Gateway Review Section in Your Qualification Course.
- Your logbook is still the record that counts. Your logbook, not Polestar Online, decides whether you can sit your exam. Save a copy of your logbook and your notes before your end date.
Tip: Finish the online material, and save the notes you want to keep, before your end date. Polestar Online is easiest to use while your course is open.
What if I need more time?
- Check your end date. If you are not sure when your course closes, contact us at info@polestarpilatesasia.com and we will confirm it for you.
- Ask for a Polestar Online Access Extension. An extension costs US$15 per month and runs only until your exam. There is no online access after the exam. You can pay month by month or upfront for a number of months. The fee is settled with Polestar or your host before access is granted, so ask before your end date.
- Know what the extension covers. It gives you the online material only. It does not reopen your original course shell.
Online access is separate from your course time limits. Your terms and conditions also set time limits for completing your modules and sitting your qualification exam, so check section 2.1 as you plan your pace.
