How to access your Polestar Pilates online learning materials, what is online for your course, and how to navigate the platform. This guide covers access timing, what differs between the two course structures, and troubleshooting.
Note: This article is about your online learning materials. Physical course manuals are handed out in person at the start of each module — they are not mailed or provided in advance. For full details on when you receive each type of material, see the Polestar Materials FAQ.
Polestar Pilates Asia is running two course structures side by side while the new curriculum comes in. Look at your course schedule:
Everything below applies to both unless it says otherwise. If you are unsure, check with your host.
Thank you for joining a Polestar Pilates course. Every Polestar course includes an online learning component with supplementary resources to support your training.
Two different things happen, at two different times.
Your username is usually the email address you used to register for your Polestar course. Please reset your password using the “Forgot your password?” link. If you are still having trouble, we can reset it for you.
Your online access has an expiry date, and how long you have depends on your course:
This is unchanged by the 2027 curriculum. Complete the material within that period so you keep your notes for future reference.
If you need longer, a paid Polestar Online Access Extension is available at US$15 per month. Please note it grants the online material only — it does not reopen your original course shell. For specific timing details please see our terms and conditions.
This is the single biggest difference between the two structures.
2027 curriculum — Principles of Movement is a taught, in-person day. There is no Gateway Online and no 10-hour Principles Online course to complete before you start. In practice:
2026 structure — two things must be completed online before you attend, and they gate different modules. Gateway Online must be completed before your first in-person Gateway module. Principles is delivered as the Polestar Principles Online course, and must be completed before your first professional module — Studio Foundation, Mat Intermediate or Reformer Intermediate.
The online materials you receive depend on what you registered for.
Please note: on the 2026 structure, some online materials for qualification courses only become available after you complete your Gateway modules.
This section is about taking a Gateway Course as a standalone. Gateway courses continue unchanged. If you are on a 2026 qualification course, Gateway is INCLUDED in it — it is not a separate purchase, and the three parts below are the ones you complete. On the 2027 curriculum there is no Gateway at all, but it can be purchased as a standalone product.
Some Polestar workshops and CE courses also have online resources. These are made available on a similar timeline, approximately 30 days before the start of the activity.
Both structures: you must complete all Requirements or Pre-Requisites for Polestar Courses before you attend your first module. This has not changed.
2027 curriculum. Before your Principles of Movement day you must also watch all Principles of Movement lectures. There is no Gateway Online on this curriculum, and no completion certificate to bring.
2026 structure. Gateway Online must be completed before you attend your first Gateway course, and you must bring your completion certificate to that module. Polestar Principles Online, where applicable, must be completed before your first professional course module (Mat Intermediate, Studio Foundation, Reformer Intermediate).
Material is released as you progress, not all at once:
Within the lecture courses, each new segment appears as you complete the quiz and/or the previous segment. You must score 80% on each quiz to progress. If the next section isn't appearing, retake the previous one to reach the 80% pass mark.
There are several reasons content may not appear when you expect it — a course that has not started yet, a quiz not yet passed, or the Student Handbook section not yet completed. We keep them all in one place: see why content might not be showing in your account.
Your observation, self-mastery and apprentice-teaching hours are recorded in your Polestar logbook, under Printable Resources. Your logbook — not Polestar Online — is the record that decides whether you may sit your exam. Keep it current and get your hours signed.
If this is not your first course, the online access you are given depends on what you registered and paid for. Many students do not need to retake Gateway or the Principles online portion; your access will match what you registered and paid for.
