How to Access Your Polestar Online Learning Materials

Thank you for joining a Polestar Pilates Course. Every Polestar course includes an online learning component with supplementary resources to enhance your educational experience.

Online Access Information


InfoIf applicable, access to your online materials and resources will be granted approximately one month before the start of your first module/activity. 

At that point, you will receive an email from Polestar Online Support d2lsupport@polestarpilates.brightspace.com with instructions on accessing your online dashboard at learn.polestarpilatesasia.com (please check your spam folder). If you don't receive these instructions, please let us know.

Forgot your password?

Your username will usually be the email that you used to register for your Polestar course. 
Please reset your password using the "Forgot your password?" link. If you are still having issues, we can manually rest this for you. 

 
WarningIMPORTANT: According to Polestar policy, there is an expiration date for your online access. Make sure to complete all materials during this period so you have notes for future reference. For students who would like additional access time, a monthly charge of US$15 per student will apply. For specific timing details, please see our terms and conditions.

Course-Specific Online Components

The online materials you receive will depend on your specific course/activity registration:

For Gateway Courses (Mat, Equipment, Reformer):

  • Gateway Online (required before first in-person module)

    • Part 1: History of Pilates and Evolution

    • Part 2: Polestar Movement Concepts

    • Part 3: Professional Ethics (Scope of Practice)

For Qualification Courses (Mat, Reformer, Comprehensive):

  • Gateway Online (as above)

  • Polestar Principles Online (10-hour pre-requisite course with 8 segments):

    • Introduction

    • Principle 1: Breathing

    • Principle 2: Axial Elongation & Core Control

    • Principle 3: Spine Articulation

    • Principle 4: Organization of the Head, Neck, and Shoulders

    • Principle 5: Alignment & Weight Bearing of the Extremities

    • Principle 6: Movement Integration

    • Principles: Additional Resources

  • Supplementary Resources and Videos related to your course

Please note: Some online materials for qualification courses will only become available AFTER completing your Gateway modules.

Important Requirements

Warning
  • Gateway Online must be completed before attending your first Gateway Course. You must bring your completion certificate(s) to your first in-person module, 

  • Polestar Principles (where applicable) must be completed before your first professional course module (Mat Intermediate, Studio Foundation, Reformer Intermediate)

How to Navigate the Online Platform

Each new segment will appear in your account as you complete the quiz and/or previous segment.

AlertYou must score 80% on each quiz to progress through the online course. I
f the next section isn't appearing, you'll need to retake the previous section to achieve the required 80% pass mark.

For Polestar Workshops/Continuing Education

Some Polestar workshops CE Courses also have some online resources associated with them. These will be made available on a similar timeline (approximately 30 days before the start of the activity)

Not your first course?

If this is not your first course, the online access you are given depends on what you registered and paid for. I.e. Many students do not want to re-take the gateway or PP online portion of the course. Your access will be commensurate with what you registered and paid for.
